New Patients at The Chiropractic Co.
We are excited to welcome you to The Chiropractic Co.! After you have booked your appointment, we will send you our new patient paperwork so that you may complete it in the comfort of your own home. If you prefer to complete the paperwork here, simply come in about 15 minutes early.
Your First Visit
When you enter our homey space, our friendly front desk staff will greet you and make you feel welcome. They’ll let you know where you can find the restrooms and toys for the kiddos. Then you’ll meet with your chiropractor, either Dr. MiKayla or Dr. Brooks.
They will sit down with you and discuss your health history and the reason you’ve come to us. They’ll take the time to understand your condition and what you hope to achieve through our care, and then they’ll begin the examination process.
We use CLA INSiGHT™ scans, which are painless, non-invasive and have zero radiation. They simply measure the stress and tension on your nervous system by scanning the muscles of your back. Because they only “read” your body, they are safe for everyone, including pregnant women and children.
The examination process will also include a thorough physical, neurological and orthopedic assessment. For patients receiving Upper Cervical care, we will also take digital X-rays onsite. We do not X-ray pregnant women or kids.
Your Second Visit
Before you return, your chiropractor will carefully review your examination results and create a custom care plan tailored to help you achieve your specific goals. At your second visit, we will go over your scans and explain all of our findings, then lay out our recommendations for care. We’ll also outline the costs and answer any of your questions. You’ll receive your first adjustment at this visit. If you are receiving Upper Cervical care, we will take a post-adjustment X-ray as part of the protocol.
